RRB Vacancy Notification 2024
The short notification for RRB New Recruitment 2024 was released in newspapers on July 22. Eligible male and female candidates from any state can apply for the Railway Recruitment for Junior Engineer and various positions vacancy. Candidates interested in securing a government job in railways must submit their application forms for the Junior Engineer recruitment by the deadline of August 29, 2024.
Important Dates:
- Opening Date for Application: 30th July 2024
- Closing Date for Submission of Application: 29th August 2024 (23:59 hours)
- Modification Window: 30th August 2024 to 8th September 2024
Age Limit:
- Age Range: 18 to 36 years as of 01st January 2025.
- There is a 3-year age relaxation due to the COVID-19 pandemic
Pay Scale:
- Junior Engineer, DMS, CMA: Level 6 (Initial Pay: ₹35,400)
- Chemical Supervisor, Metallurgical Supervisor: Level 7 (Initial Pay: ₹44,900)
Qualification / Eligibility Criteria
- Junior Engineer (JE):
- Educational Qualification: Three-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Depot Material Superintendent (DMS):
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant field.
- Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA):
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects, or
- Three-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline.
- Educational Qualification:
- Chemical Supervisor (Research):
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant field.
- Metallurgical Supervisor (Research):
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant field.
Application Process:
- Online Application Only: Applications must be submitted online through the official RRB website.
- Single Application: Each candidate is allowed to apply to only one RRB and should submit only one common online application.
- Account Creation: Candidates need to create an account before filling out the application. Details entered during account creation cannot be modified later.
- Document Verification: Candidates must provide relevant documents during the document verification stage.
Examination Stages:
There will be two stages of Computer Based Tests (CBT) followed by document verification and medical examination.
